Celebration of life set for Pewter Plough Playhouse founder

The Pewter Plough Playhouse invites all who knew theater founder Jim Buckley to a celebration of his extraordinary life, featuring good memories and light refreshments, from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, one day after what would have been his 103rd birthday. Buckley died in September.

Buckley founded the playhouse in 1976, and it stages productions throughout the year. The playhouse is at 824 Main St. in Cambria’s West Village.
