SLO bus riders get trip help through redesigned website

The San Luis Obispo Regional Transit Authority (RTA) recently launched a redesigned website to allow riders to more easily access and read bus schedules, plan their trips and find information.

Riders can also now buy passes online with a credit card, which are then mailed to the customer, according to a news release from RTA. The site features information and schedules for the RTA, Paso Express and South County Transit systems.

The new site was designed by Subplot Studio, a creative agency in San Luis Obispo, based on feedback from frequent and occasional customers and visually impaired website users. An updated feature allows website-reading software to help visually impaired riders learn bus route schedules.
