Camp Roberts seeks paid role players for training exercise

The California National Guard is looking for more 100 paid volunteers to play victims in emergency situations to be rescued by National Guardsmen in an upcoming training exercise at Camp Roberts near San Miguel.
Between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Nov. 17, volunteers will be needed for the exercises that will involve about 450 local National Guardsmen. Interested participants must also attend an orientation at the base between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. Nov. 16.
Role players will be paid $14.37 per hour on both days.
To be eligible, applicants must be 16 years or older and have transportation. Area lodging will not be provided. Participants will be provided lunch Nov. 17.
