Hospice of San Luis Obispo County will hold a workshop Nov. 5 on ways to deal with grief during the holiday season.
The workshop will focus on planning for the holidays — including what to change and what to keep the same — as well as the importance of flexibility and self-care, according to a news release.
Roslyn Strohl, a licensed marriage and family therapist and counselor at Hospice of SLO County, will share information and advice on dealing with grief and discuss the importance of spending time with others.
The workshop will also include a moderated panel discussion addressing various kinds of loss, such as pet loss, loss of a child and anticipatory grief.
