Cuesta College will host a business forum Oct. 27 for local business owners and community members interested in starting a business.
The free forum will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. in room N2401 on Cuesta’s North County campus, 2800 Buena Vista Drive in Paso Robles, according to a news release from the community college.
“The purpose is pure business education to support our local San Luis Obispo County business industry,” said Gary Rubin, Cuesta College business instructor and North County campus coordinator of workforce and economic development.
The event will feature representatives from local chambers of commerce, the Economic Vitality Corporation and other business support organizations.

The guest speakers are Dallas K. Mosier, an attorney with Carmel & Naccasha LLP, who will discuss legal structure options and considerations for start-ups and growing businesses; Barry VanderKelen, president of Central Coast Trust, on social entrepreneurship; and Dan Rubin, manager with Caliber Advisers, who will focus on business valuation principles.
