Almond Acres Charter Academy enrollment extended

Open Enrollment Period for the 2014-2015 school year at Almond Acres Charter Academy will extend through March 15. Forms can be found on the AACA site, http://www.aacacademy.com . If there are more applicants than spaces available, a lottery will take place at the end of the period. The academy is hosting tours of the campus and classrooms at 5:30 p.m. Jan. 23; 9 a.m Jan. 29; and 9 a.m. Feb. 20. Visitors will have an opportunity to meet with Executive Director Bob Bourgault. Mission San Antonio de Padua will host its annual Cutting of the Roses and Spaghetti Dinner from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Jan. 26.

Donations are $10 per person to help complete the structure’s earthquake retrofit.
