A student at Pat Butler Elementary School in Paso Robles was struck by a car while walking to school Thursday morning.
The Paso Robles Joint Unified School District issued a statement Thursday that said the student was “clipped by the bumper of a car,” and was treated by paramedics before being taken to Twin Cities Community Hospital for minor injuries.
The district said it will provide support for the student and the family and has called additional support staff and counselors for students.
No other information was immediately available Thursday morning.
