Here’s what to know:
Will trash pickup schedule change in SLO? Morro Bay?
San Luis Garbage, a subsidiary of Waste Connections, handles garbage, recycling and organic waste collection in the city of San Luis Obispo.
The city of Morro Bay partners with another Waste Connections subsidiary, Morro Bay Garbage, for trash collection.
Waste Connection also operates South County Sanitary and Mission Country Disposal, which handle garbage pickup in other parts of the county.

The company will pick up trash as usual on Saturday, July 4, according to its website.
However, its office will be closed.

Waste Management handles trash, recycling and organic waste disposal in Atascadero, Templeton and other North County communities.
Independence Day will not affect garbage pickup schedules for customers of Waste Management and San Miguel Garbage.
