Fully involved structure fire burns SLO County home

A residential fire broke out in Atascadero on Wednesday afternoon, with the flames extending into the vegetation.

The fire was reported at 8315 Los Osos Road around 11:58 a.m., according to Atascadero Fire administrative assistant Kelly Arebalo.

Arebalo told The Tribune the home was fully involved at one point, and extended into the vegetation near the residence.

The flames had been knocked down as of 12:26 p.m., Arebalo reported.

Arebalo did not have further details about damage to the structure or where in the home the fire was located as of 12:33 p.m.
