Celebrating Mother’s Day in San Luis Obispo County?

Whether you’re looking for a special meal, a relaxing wine tasting experience or a family-friendly festival, there are several local activities in store for moms and their families.

Which restaurants have Mother’s Day brunch or lunch?

Numerous restaurants across San Luis Obispo County are serving up special menus for Mother’s Day.

Eberle Winery, 3810 Highway 46 East in Paso Robles, is offering a Mother’s Day lunch on Sunday, May 10, with curated wine tasting, food served buffet-style and communal seating.

Admission to the 21-and-up event costs $100. Reservations can be made online or by calling 805-238-9607.

Robin’s Restaurant, 4095 Burton Drive in Cambria, is hosting a Mother’s Day brunch from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Sunday.

The restaurant is serving a special menu with soups, salads, appetizers and entrées. Diners can choose from the indoor dining room or the atrium patio.

Reservations can be made online.

Nicola’s Ristorante, 11560 Los Osos Valley Road in San Luis Obispo, is hosting a Mother’s Day lunch and dinner on Sunday.

Treat the special woman in your life to a thoughtfully crafted menu created just for the occasion,” the Italian restaurant said in an Instagram post.

Meals cost $85, or $35 for children under 12. Kids under 3 eat free.

Online reservations are required.

Where can I go wine tasting for Mother’s Day?

On Saturday, May 9, Donati Family Vineyard is hosting a Mimosas with Mom event at its tasting room at 2720 Oak View Road in Templeton.

Tickets cost $75 for two people, and include a bottle of sparkling wine, a juice flight, artisanal bites and a flower bouquet.

“Because we’re turning the fun all the way up, we’ve got permanent jewelry and a tattoo artist on site for those ready to add a little shine — or a little ink — to their day” for an additional fee, the winery said.

Ancient Peaks Winery, 22720 El Camino Real in Santa Margarita, is offering a special Mother’s Day wine tasting.

The Mother’s Day Sip & Celebrate event runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, May 10, in the winery’s tasting room and café.

Customers can enjoy mimosas made with Ancient Peaks sparkling wine along with lunch. Admission is $20, and reservations can be booked online.

Wine tasting, food and live music are in store Still Waters Vineyard, 2750 Old Grove Lane in Paso Robles.

Samie and Friends will perform from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday in the garden.

Reservations are $10, with free admission for wine club members. Tacos cost $15, and wine is available to buy by the glass or bottle.

Catch a Mother’s Day concert in Los Osos

Sea Pines Golf Resort, 1945 Solano St. in Los Osos, has live music on Mother’s Day weekend.

Noach Contreras, Blues Asylum and Dave Tate will perform as part of the free Barefoot Concerts on the Green series from 2 to 8 p.m. Saturday, May 9.

Earlier performances will be outside on the patio green, with the musicians moving indoors at 6 p.m. to the Clubhouse Grill.

The Gypsy All Stars Trio performs 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, May 10, at Sea Pines’ Clubhouse Grill.

SLO park hosts Faerie Festival

The San Luis Obispo Botanical Garden will host the family-friendly Faerie Festival on Saturday, May 9.

The garden is at 3450 Dairy Creek Road in San Luis Obispo, inside El Chorro Regional Park off Highway 1.

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., attendees can participate in fairy-themed crafts and activities.

“The garden will be filled with music, storytelling and face-painting,” organizers said.

Although the Faerie Festival is free, it costs $5 per person to enter El Chorro Regional Park. You can avoid the entry fee if you take a free shuttle from the Cuesta College parking lot.

Concessions will be available for purchase.
