Looking for free summer activities in Arroyo Grande?
Concerts in the Park returns to the Village of Arroyo Grande in July. All summer long, you can catch artists performing in genres from bluegrass and country to jazz and soul for free.
Local nonprofit organizations will raffle off prizes at the concerts.

Where are free summer concerts in Arroyo Grande? When?
Concerts in the Park will be held at Heritage Square Park, 201 Nelson St. in Arroyo Grande.
The free concert series kicks off on Saturday, July 4, lasting from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Following that date, acts will perform every Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m., through Sunday, Sept. 20.

- Aug. 30: Jane’s Gang
- Sept. 6: Miss Leo
- Sept. 13: Unfinished with the Beatles
- Sept. 20: Rose’s Pawn Shop
Can I bring food and drinks?
Food trucks serve up snacks and drinks at Heritage Square Park on select days.
“The South County Historical Society will also be serving up their famous hot dogs every other week,” organizers said.
The Arroyo Grande Rotary Club will be selling beer and wine.
What’s not allowed in the park during the concerts?
The city of Arroyo Grande said smoking and vaping are not allowed at public parks.
In addition, the following activities are not allowed during concerts:
- Outside alcohol
- Soliciting
- Barbecues
