Visiting wine country in San Luis Obispo County? You may encounter traffic delays.

A key road in Paso Robles will undergo nearly seven weeks of shoulder repairs, the San Luis Obispo County Department of Public Works said in an April 20 news release.

Which SLO County road is undergoing repairs? When?

San Luis Obispo contractor Seamair Construction Inc. is completing road shoulder repairs on Peachy Canyon Road in Paso Robles, county officials said.

The winding route, which connects with Vineyard Drive, is dotted with notable wineries including Calcareous Vineyard, Law Estate Wines and Villa Creek Cellars.

Roadwork starts on Monday, April 27, and ends on Friday, June 12.

Crews will work from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on weekdays, the county Public Works Department said.

“There will be no lane restrictions” outside of those hours, the release said.

How long will traffic delays last?

“There may be traffic delays of up to 15 minutes,” the county Public Works Department said.
