Motorcyclist suffers major injuries in 3-vehicle crash in SLO County
A motorcyclist suffered major injuries in a collision involving two other vehicles Wednesday night.
At around 7:48 p.m., Arroyo Grande police received a report of a crash in the 1100 block of West Branch Street in Arroyo Grande, according to a news release.
Once on scene, officers immediately rendered aid to the injured motorcyclist until emergency responders arrived. The motorcyclist was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries, where “he remained in serious, but stable condition,” the release said.
The two other drivers involved stayed on scene and remained cooperative with the investigation, according to the agency.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation, police said, and drugs and alcohol are not suspected factors in the collision.
The Grover Beach Police Department, the California Highway Patrol, Five Cities Fire Authority, San Luis Ambulance and Arroyo Grande Public Works Department provided assistance in the aftermath of the crash.
