The former tenant, Spyglass Inn Restaurant, occupied the spot for 37 years before closing on Nov. 1, 2024, due to previous ownership not renewing the restaurant’s lease with the hotel.

Less than two years later, Westerly stepped in. The new spot will serve up Cali-coastal cuisine, cocktails and ocean views, according to its website.

“We ditched the carpet, added white oak herringbone floors, paneling, and our favorite: a wallpapered ceiling, to completely change the vibe of this room,” Westerly’s Instagram post read.
