The only Converse store in San Luis Obispo County has closed after more than a decade at its location.

A sign posted on the store’s door at the Pismo Beach Premium Outlets said Wednesday would be its last day open. The Converse Factory Store, located at 333 5 Cities Drive, had been selling discounted merchandise for weeks prior.

The Tribune reached out to Converse’s corporate communications channel multiple times to inquire about the closure, but did not receive a response.

The shoe and clothing store opened in the Pismo Beach outlet mall at 333 5 Cities Drive in 2015, according to previous Tribune reporting.

For locals seeking Converse merchandise, the sign posted on the building directed shoppers to the Camarillo or Tulare retail locations, or online at Converse.com.
