One of Cal Poly’s most well-known graduates is returning to San Luis Obispo County next year.

Parody artist and 1980 Cal Poly architecture graduate “Weird Al” Yankovic is set to perform at Vina Robles Amphitheatre on Sept. 15 next year, the venue announced via its Facebook page.

Yankovic is stopping in San Luis Obispo County during his 2026 “Bigger and Weirder” tour, which will run from May through October.

The “Polka Face,” “Eat It” and “Amish Paradise” singer most recently performed at Vina Robles in 2022 during his “Unfortunate Return of the Ridiculously Self-Indulgent, Ill-Advised Vanity Tour.”

Yankovic is famously known for recording his first hit, “My Bologna,” in the restroom across from the KCPR radio station studio in the Graphic Communications building on campus.
