2 found dead in Grover Beach home, investigation underway

Two people were found dead inside a Grover Beach home early Saturday morning, prompting a police investigation.

According to a Facebook post by the Grover Beach Police Department at 2:20 a.m., officers responded to the scene in the 300 block of North Third Street, discovering two people pronounced dead inside a home upon arrival.

The two people were found with gunshot wounds, according to Police Chief Jim Munro. Munro said there is no outstanding concern for public safety at the moment.

The officers were first dispatched just before 1 a.m., Munro told The Tribune. At around 10 a.m. the team began clearing out.
