86-year-old SLO man reported missing after evening walk. Have you seen him?

An 86-year-old San Luis Obispo man is missing after he went on a routine walk Monday evening.

James Quinn was last seen going for a walk around 6:30 p.m. in the 200 block of Charles Drive in the San Luis Obispo Country Club area but never returned home, the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release. He was wearing a gray jacket with a hood, a blue shirt, blue jeans and gray shoes.

The Sheriff’s Office described Quinn as an “at-risk missing person.”

Quinn goes on walks on a regular basis, the agency said. A family member reported him missing Monday evening, when a sizable storm swept San Luis Obispo County with more than 1.5 inches of rain in San Luis Obispo.

Quinn is white, stands 5 feet and 7 inches tall, weighs 145 pounds and has brown eyes and gray hair.

The Sheriff’s Office asks anyone who may have information on Quinn’s whereabouts to call 805-781-4550.
