Motorcyclist killed, 4 injured in SLO County crash

A motorcyclist was killed in a fatal crash in Atascadero on Saturday evening.

According to an Atascadero Police Department news release, officers responded to a traffic collision report in the 8300 block of El Camino Real on Saturday evening.

Upon arrival, police determined a car and motorcycle were involved. The motorcyclist suffered fatal injuries in the crash, the release said.

Four passengers from the car were meanwhile transported to Adventist Health Twin Cities hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to the release.

The road was closed Saturday night while police investigated the incident.
