Airports in San Luis Obispo, Santa Maria and Santa Barbara offer a wide variety flights to vacation destinations across the country.
For less than $100, you can find yourself lounging on a beautiful beach or taking in big city sights.
Here are the some of the cheapest flights you can take from the Central Coast:
Where can you fly nonstop from Central Coast airports?
San Luis Obispo County Regional Airport offers direct flights to eight locations across the United States, including Dallas, Denver, Los Angeles and Phoenix.
Nonstop flights are also available to San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle and Portland, Oregon.
At Santa Barbara Airport, you can choose from 23 daily direct flights to 12 major hubs, including Atlanta, Oakland and Salt Lake City, the airport said on its website.
Santa Maria Airport has nonstop flights to Las Vegas and Phoenix.
If you don’t mind catching a connecting flight, you can also fly to a host of other destinations from Central Coast airports for cheap.
Where can I fly from SLO for under $100?
The Tribune searched through Google Flights to find the most affordable one-way plane trip options for San Luis Obispo-area travelers during the months of September, October and November.
These were the least expensive nonstop and indirect flights available from the SLO airport as of Friday, Sept. 12:
- San Diego: $79 on Alaska Airlines
- Las Vegas: $89 on Alaska Airlines
- Seattle: $99 on Alaska Airlines
- San Francisco: $104 on Alaska Airlines
- Chicago: $138 on Alaska Airlines
- New York: $150 on United Airlines
- Miami: $164 on United Airlines
- Boston: $172 on American Airlines
- New Orleans: $185 on United Airlines
- Toronto: $193 on Alaska Airlines
What are cheapest flights from Santa Barbara airport?
Santa Barbara Airport is also offering a variety of inexpensive flights in September, October and November, including some nonstop trips.
According to Google Flights, these were the most affordable one-way flights from Santa Barbara as of Friday, Sept. 12.
- Denver: $67 on United Airlines
- San Francisco: $86 on United Airlines
- Seattle: $89 on Alaska Airlines
- Las Vegas: $90 on Southwest Airlines
- Chicago: $103 on Southwest Airlines
- New Orleans: $105 on Southwest Airlines
- Washington, D.C.: $118 on Southwest Airlines
- Boston: $125 on United Airlines
- Miami: $125 on United Airlines

How much does it cost to fly direct out of Santa Maria?
For the last few years, the Santa Maria Airport has only offered one destination — Las Vegas through Allegiant Air.
As of Friday, Sept. 12, you could fly nonstop to Sin City for $44 via Allegiant Air in September, October and November, according to Google Flights.
Beginning on Oct. 15, travelers have a new option to take nonstop flights to Phoenix through American Airlines.
The flights to the Arizona city will take off twice a day.
According to Google Flights, the cheapest nonstop, one-way flights this fall start at $199.
