A Paso Robles, California, middle school staff was placed on administrative leave for an undisclosed reason last month.

According to a news release from the Paso Robles Joint Unified School District, a Lewis Flamson Junior High School staff member was put on leave effective May 30.

“We have no reason to believe that any students or staff members were physically harmed, and we want to stress that the District takes all matters involving student and staff safety seriously, and a safe school environment is our top priority,” the release read. “Out of respect for the privacy of the individuals involved, we are limited in the details we can share at this time.”

Additional updates will be provided “as appropriate,” and questions can be directed to the district, according to the release.

The Tribune reached out to the Paso Robles Joint Unified School District for more information but did not receive an immediate reply.
