Driver injured after car tumbles 150 feet off TV Tower Road

A vehicle reportedly tumbled 150 feet down TV Tower Road road along the Cuesta Ridge on Monday evening, injuring the driver.

According to the California Highway Patrol’s traffic incident report page, a gray Toyota Tacoma went off the road near Highway 101 around 5:29 p.m., falling down the hillside.

According to the CHP page, the solo occupant then climbed out of the vehicle and “up the ridge.”

Multiple tow trucks were initially called to the area, with several saying they would not have enough cable to reach the vehicle.

According to the CHP page, the driver received minor injuries in the crash.

The incident did not appear to be impacting traffic through the area, according to the Caltrans QuickMap.
