Singer Rod Stewart reschedules Paso Robles show
The Rod Stewart concert scheduled for June 15 at the Vina Robles Amphitheatre has been rescheduled to a later month, due to the singer-songwriter’s illness.
Stewart rescheduled the SLO County show to Sept. 21, and wrote in an Instagram post on Friday that he continues to recover from the flu.
“I’m devastated and sincerely apologize to my fans,” Stewart wrote in the post. “I’ll be back on stage and will see you soon.”
The show in SLO County is one of two shows to be rescheduled, while four concerts in Las Vegas and Stateline, Nevada are canceled, the post said.
According to a news release, all previously purchased tickets will be honored on the new date.
Stewart will remain on vocal and physical rest as he recovers from the flu and will not perform throughout June, the release said.
This show is part of his One Last Time Tour, with his first concert in March in Austin, Texas and the last show scheduled for Aug. 15 in St. Louis, Missouri.
The singer recently won the Lifetime Achievement Award after performing at the American Music Awards. He will continue with his shows at the The Colloseum in Caesars Palace, Las Vegas through the fall, according to People.
