A Los Osos man was reported missing Monday and still has not been found, prompting his family to ask for the public’s help locating him.

Tyson Baker, who was experiencing a mental health crisis at the time of his disappearance, was last heard from in a text to his children at 7:54 a.m. Monday morning, according to a flier posted on Facebook by Baker’s family.

The Sheriff’s Office is asking Los Osos residents to check security cameras, Ring doorbells, trail cams and dashcams between the hours of 5:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. Monday for any assistance locating Baker and his vehicle, according to the flier.

Baker’s vehicle, a white 2009 Ford E-150 van bearing a red “FMF” logo over the Ford logo and a California license plate reading 8X36525, is missing and may be parked on roadsides, trail parking or off of remote roads, according to the flier.
