Rollover crash on Hwy. 101 backs up traffic through SLO
A two-car rollover crash backed up traffic on Highway 101 in San Luis Obispo on Wednesday afternoon.
At 11:56 a.m., the California Highway Patrol traffic incident page reported that one of the vehicles involved in a two-car crash on southbound Highway 101 had rolled over and landed back on its wheels off the road and up the hillside near the South Higuera Street off-ramp.
The crash involved a silver Toyota Camry and a small SUV, and everyone was out of the vehicles by 12:01 p.m., the CHP said.
Traffic quickly backed up and by 12:20 p.m., it was stretching past Los Osos Valley Road.
By then, both vehicles were on the roadside and lanes were clear, according to the CHP page.
The incident was reported as a minor injury and both cars were towed, according to the page.
