121 new homes in Avila Ranch development’s second phase go on sale in SLO
A new batch of homes in the 720-unit Avila Ranch development started sales Tuesday.
The second phase of the development consisting of 121 single-family homes is now on the market, with eight floor plans available in the new phase, according to a news release from Avila Ranch developer Trumark Homes.
Starting in the mid-$700,000 range and ending in the mid-$900,000s for the larger units, Avila Ranch’s new listings are reaching the market around four years after the original 177 homes were made available in the first building phase.
“Following the strong sales momentum of our first phase of 180 homesites released just over a year ago, the second phase of homes at Avila Ranch is now underway,” Trumark Homes Central California Division president Josh Peterson said in the release. “Located among renowned vineyards, these homes reflect the historic charm of San Luis Obispo and connect residents to the surrounding nature.”
Floor plans range between 819 square feet and 2,273 square feet distributed across two to four bedrooms, one to two-and-a-half bathrooms and one- or two-car garages, according to the release.
“Avila Ranch was among the first communities to bring Trumark Homes to Central California,” Peterson said in the release. “We are pleased with how the community has responded to the design and craftsmanship of the homes and eager to provide a broad variety of homes to meet the growing demand in the region.”
A third phase of the development was approved by the San Luis Obispo Planning Commission in February 2024, with 145 new units currently in the pipeline.
The third phase will sit on around four acres and will consist of 85 market-rate condos and 60 affordable apartments within three buildings.
