Morro Bay police ask public’s help finding at-risk missing person. Have you seen him?
The Morro Bay Police Department is asking for the public’s help locating an at-risk person who went missing Wednesday afternoon.
According to a post on the department’s Facebook page, at around 3 p.m. Wednesday, Morro Bay resident Michael Lee Finley was last seen at the Cuesta College Regional Transit Authority bus stop by his job coach.
Finley — who is developmentally disabled — was wearing dark pants, sneakers, a ball cap and dark sunglasses.
He was supposed to be dropped off at the Morro Bay City Park bus stop but did not arrive at the destination, according to the Facebook post.
Finley can communicate effectively and carry on a conversation, but his cell phone is powered off and he cannot receive calls currently, according to the post.
There are no known locations where Finley may be at this time, though his family is aware and actively searching for him, according to the post.
Residents who have spotted Finley in the past day are encouraged to notify the Morro Bay Police Department at 805-772-6225, under CR# 25-0204.
