Mid-State Fair just announced 3 new acts. Here’s who’s coming to Paso Robles this summer
The California Mid-State Fair is still months away, but announcements for the fair’s headline performers are starting to trickle in.
Two country acts and a rock band have already been announced for the main stage, with more performers expected to drop as the fair approaches in July.
Here are the first three grandstand stage acts announced so far, according to news releases from the fair.
Cody Johnson coming to Mid-State Fair
Country music star Cody Johnson will perform at the fair on Saturday, July 19, at 7:30 p.m.
Johnson’s multi-platinum career has grown considerably in recent years, with 8 billion global streams, three No. 1 singles and half a dozen album releases.
Opening the show will be Randall King who has has put together a strong country career, including over 300 million streams on hit singles such as “You In A Honky Tonk,” “Hey Cowgirl” and “Mirror, Mirror,” according to the release.
Tickets for Johnson’s show went on sale Feb. 7, starting at $67 and running as high as $182 depending on the seat.
Bailey Zimmerman announced for main stage
Another country performer will play the Chumash Grandstand Arena the next week.
Bailey Zimmerman, a rising star in the country scene, will perform Wednesday, July 23, at 7:30 p.m., featuring special guests Dylan Marlowe and Drew Baldridge as openers.
Zimmerman has risen through the ranks of the country charts since breaking out with his 2023 album “Religiously,” which became the top streaming country debut of all time off and followed four consecutive No. 1 singles, including the five-time platinum mega-hit “Rock and a Hard Place” and four-time platinum debut single “Fall in Love,” according to the release.
Tickets for Zimmerman’s show will go on sale Friday, Feb. 21 at 10 a.m. with prices starting at $52 and running as high as $127, according to the release.
311, special guest Iration announced
Modern rock group 311 will take to the Chumash Grandstand Arena stage on Friday, July 18, at 7:30 p.m.
The Omaha, Nebraska-based band’s signature blend of rock, reggae, funk, and rap has earned five platinum and six gold certifications, totaling more than 1.5 billion streams globally, according to the release.
Isla Vista alternative and reggae group Iration will open for 311.
Ticket sales started Friday, and are available for $90.

This year’s California Mid-State Fair will run July 16 through July 27, with a theme of “Off to the Races!”
