Record-breaking number of people traveled through SLO County airport in 2024. Here’s how many

The San Luis Obispo County Regional Airport saw the most passengers it has ever seen in 2024, the airport said in a news release Friday.

Last year, a record-breaking 746,764 travelers passed through the airport, the release said. This was a 13% increase from its previous record of 660,745 passengers in 2023.

“Achieving this milestone is a reflection of the incredible teamwork and dedication of everyone who makes SBP thrive,” SLO County airports director Courtney Johnson said in the release. “Whether it’s the airport team who go above and beyond every day, our airline partners, or the guests who trust us with their journeys — this growth wouldn’t be possible without each of you.”
