Nearly 2,000 customers lose power in Atascadero PG&E outage

Nearly 2,000 customers lost power in Atascadero on Tuesday morning, according to PG&E’s outage map.

The unplanned outage appeared to affect 1,993 customers in the west-side neighborhoods of Atascadero as of 9:45 a.m. It was restored by 11:30 a.m.

The outage was reported at 9:15 a.m., the outage map said.

“Our team is evaluating the electrical system to identify damaged sections and make necessary repairs in order to safely turn the power back on,” PG&E said on its website.

PG&E originally said it hoped to have power restored by 1:45 p.m.
