Mouse, a 10-year-old cat, is the pet of The Tribune editor Joe Tarica. His hobbies include being grumpy, biting you if you touch his mittens and avoiding boops at all costs.

We asked you to submit your cats to The Tribune’s cutest cat competition — and you delivered.

More than 60 adorable kitties were nominated.

Now it’s time to vote for your favorite feline!

The most purr-fect pet will be featured with their owner in a story on SanLuisObispo.com.

Here’s how voting works:

Nono, a 10-year-old cat, is the pet of The Tribune editor Joe Tarica. His hobbies include trying to run out the door anytime he sees your hands are full and getting extra food by knocking over the container.

How to vote in The Tribune’s cutest cat contest

We will have two polls with more than 30 pets per contest, grouped by order of submission. This is the first round, with the first 35 cuddly cats and kittens.

From each round, 10 furry friends will move on to the finals.

Then we’ll seek your help to crown SLO County’s coolest cat.

Vote for at least one, but no more than eight of your favorite cats to move on in the competition.

Tribune subscribers can vote as many times as they want.

To subscribe, visit sanluisobispo.com/subscribe for a list of offers, including an introductory rate of 99 cents for one month.

When does voting close?

Voting closes on Wednesday, Nov. 20, at 5 p.m. If you see something that needs to be updated, please email us at slinn@thetribunenews.com.

Didn’t spot your cat? Don’t worry — more furry faces are on their way, so check back in the coming days for the next round.

Remember: This poll isn’t scientific — it’s just for fun!
