2 injured in Highway 101 car crash in northern SLO County

Two cars crashed on a northbound Highway 101 off-ramp in San Miguel on Monday afternoon, causing minor injuries.

At 2:13 p.m., California Highway Patrol received reports of a two vehicle car crash, according to the CHP’s traffic incident page.

The crash took place on the 10th Street off-ramp.

One car was reported to have front end damage and another was reportedly in the center divider of the highway, according to the page.

Debris was reported in both lanes and oil and gasoline was leaking from one of the cars into the center divider, the CHP page said.

Two people sustained minor injuries, CHP said in a post on X at 2:30 p.m.

Traffic was briefly running slowly through the area though as of 3:30 p.m. appeared to be back to normal.
