Outage knocks out power to more than 1,200 SLO County PG&E customers

An outage cut power to more than 1,000 PG&E customers in San Luis Obispo County on Wednesday morning.

According to PG&E’s Outage Center, at around 8:45 a.m., 1,230 customers in the Pismo Beach area lost power due to an unplanned outage.

Most customers impacted by the outage were located on the north side of Highway 101 and along Price Canyon Road, according to the Outage Center.

PG&E work crews were dispatched to check the electrical system and make repairs, according to the Outage Center.

Power was estimated to be restored around 2 p.m., according to the Outage Center.
