The California Department of State Hospitals will hold its annual career fair at Atascadero State Hospital on Saturday, Oct. 19.
Job seekers will have a chance to browse employment “opportunities in 173 different job classifications,” the department said in a news release.
Pay starts at $18 an hour, with salaries ranging up to $340,000 a year.
ASH is one of the largest forensic and mental health hospitals in the United States, according to the release.
When and where is Atascadero State Hospital job fair?
The career fair will take place at Atascadero State Hospital, 10333 El Camino Real in Atascadero, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 19.
Employment seekers will be able to find out more about the application process, meet with hospital staff and explore different job paths at ASH, the release said.
Available positions include roles in food services, clinics, custodial services, administrative support and law enforcement, the state Department of Hospitals said.
Attendees can learn about eligibility exams and interviewing techniques, as well as how to submit a job application.
