More than 3,000 PG&E customers in San Luis Obispo County were left without electricity Friday morning due to an unplanned power outage.

According to PG&E’s Outage Center website, the outage affected 3,018 customers in Atascadero and unincorporated SLO County east of Highway 101.

The outage was first reported at 7:22 a.m.

As of 9:44 a.m., power had been fully restored to the area, according to the PG&E Outage Center.
