Another new Starbucks is coming to SLO. Here’s where and when
Yet another Starbucks is in the works for San Luis Obispo — this time in a shopping center off Los Osos Valley Road.
A Starbucks spokesperson on Monday confirmed the international coffee chain plans to open a new location at 1501 Froom Ranch Way later this year.
The new spot will take over a space that was previously Pacific Premier Bank in the Irish Hills Plaza. Other tenants in the shopping center include @Nails, Whole Foods and TJ Maxx.
This is the third new Starbucks confirmed to be coming to the city in the past year.
In April, the company confirmed plans to open a new Starbucks at a former Teazer World Market at 1075 Court St. in downtown San Luis Obispo.
Then in May, the company confirmed it was in the “very early stages” of opening another new location at the former Village Host Pizza & Grill at 2138 Broad St.
Both of those locations have yet to announce opening dates.
There are currently four other standalone Starbucks locations in the city, as well as spots in Target, Vons and Cal Poly’s Campus Market.
The new Froom Ranch Way location is expected to open in the fall, according to the Starbucks spokesperson.
Further details about the new Starbucks were not immediately available.
