A middle-aged man was airlifted from the Lake Nacimiento area Thursday afternoon after he was injured in an ATV crash, the California Highway Patrol said.

CHP Coastal Division Air Operations received reports of an ATV rollover at Running Deer Ranch at 12:09 p.m., CHP Officer Doug Weeda said.

The man reportedly suffered a broken arm, Weeda said, but no other details were known about his injuries.

CHP’s H-70 helicopter responded to the call and transported the patient to Adventist Health Sierra Vista hospital in San Luis Obispo.
