Motorcyclist killed in crash near SLO County neighborhood

A motorcyclist died after crashing near a Paso Robles neighborhood on Sunday afternoon.

According to a Paso Robles Police Department news release, officers responded around 4:23 p.m. to a report of a single vehicle collision on Charolais Road near the intersection of St. Andrews Circle.

Police said further investigation showed a motorcycle rider had lost control and left the road after colliding with a curb.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene by the Paso Robles Department of Emergency Services, according to the release. The name of the person killed was being withheld pending notification of next of kin, police said.

An investigation was ongoing and anyone with further information was asked to contact the Police Department at 805-237-6464.
