A portion of Toro Creek Road will temporarily close for bridge repairs during the first week of June.

A recent inspection of the bridge showed “potential structural deficiencies, which require repairs,” a news release from the San Luis Obispo County Public Works Department said.

The agency will close the bridge on Toro Creek Road to vehicles from June 4 to June 7 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., the release said. The bridge will otherwise remain open.

The bridge is about a quarter mile east of the Toro Creek Road intersection with Highway 1, according to the release.

Caltrans inspected and recommended repairs for 136 other federal highway bridges in San Luis Obispo County as well, the release said.
