SLO County outage knocks out power to 3,000 PG&E customers on North Coast

A power outage left more than 3,000 PG&E customers without power in northern San Luis Obispo County Wednesday afternoon.

At around 4:11 p.m., 3,292 Cambria customers in the area of Highway 46, Highway 1 and northern Cambria lost power, according to PG&E’s Outage Center website.

According to the PG&E Outage Center website, weather conditions were likely the cause of the outage.

San Luis Obispo County is currently at the start of a multi-day storm affecting much of California, which has already brought rain and wind to the Central Coast Wednesday afternoon.

No time estimate was provided for power to be restored, according to the PG&E website.
