SLO County bridge to close for repairs. Here’s what’s happening
A bridge in rural Arroyo Grande will temporarily close for repairs later this month.
The bridge, located on Huasna Road at the Huasna River, has “structural deficiencies, which require repairs to the bridge,” the San Luis Obispo County Public Works Department said in a news release.
From Monday, Nov. 27 to Thursday, Nov. 30, the county will close the bridge to vehicles during construction from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., according to the agency.
The bridge will be open outside of construction hours.
The county will also close Huasna Road 2.5 miles east of the intersection with Huasna Townsite Road during construction, the agency said.
“This bridge is among 200 highway structures in San Luis Obispo County which are maintained by Public Works,” the news release said.
