Injured motorcyclist found off the road on Highway 1 in SLO County

An injured motorcyclist was rescued after crashing on Highway 1 in northern San Luis Obispo County on Friday afternoon.

The motorcyclist was discovered two miles south of Ragged Point at around 3:20 p.m., Cal Fire spokesperson Toni Davis told The Tribune. A Cal Fire tweet said the motorcyclist was found off the roadway.

The motorcyclist had sustained injuries and was transported away by the California Highway Patrol, according to Davis.

The status of the motorcyclist is unknown at this point.
