More than 1,200 customers were without power in Pismo Beach on Thursday morning due to an outage.

The outage caused 1,1232 customers to lose power starting around 10 a.m. Thursday, according to PG&E’s website.

The outage affected an area beginning slightly south of Highway 101 west of Mary Herrington Park and stretching north along both sides of Price Canyon Road, the utility company said.

The outage’s largest area was west of Price Canyon Road and north of Highway 101.

Power was expected to be restored around 3 p.m., the website said. The cause of the outage is under investigation.
