Have you seen her? SLO County woman has been missing since July, Sheriff’s Office says
The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office is searching for information about a 29-year-old woman believed to have been missing for close to a month.
Wendelin “Wendy” Stauffer has been missing since July 12, the Sheriff’s Office said in a news release Monday.
Stauffer last made contact with her San Luis Obispo employer in May, when she told them “she needed to go to Ventura to help a friend/family member,” the news release said.
Stauffer was then last seen at the San Jose Regional Medical Center on July 10, according to the release.
A family member of the missing woman did not know why Stauffer would have been in the San Jose area, but said they have had, “little regular contact with Stauffer in the past,” according to the news release.
Anyone with information about Stauffer is encouraged to contact the Sheriff’s Office.
