Multi-vehicle crash on Highway 101 slows traffic in SLO County

A collision involving multiple vehicles slowed traffic on Highway 101 in southern San Luis Obispo County on Friday afternoon.

Two or three vehicles crashed at about 4:10 p.m. in the northbound lane of Highway 101 near the North Tefft Street offramp, according to the Caltrans website Quickmap.

One vehicle was on its side, blocking one of the northbound lanes, according to Quickmap.

According to Quickmap, the collision resulted in a major injury.

As of 4:50 p.m., California Highway Patrol units were responding to the crash. The agency could not yet confirm how many vehicles were involved in the collision or if it resulted in injuries.
