Fire burns garage, barn and cars in Templeton — and more vehicles are threatened
A fire burning at a Templeton home on Thursday afternoon destroyed multiple structures and vehicles Thursday afternoon, according to emergency scanner traffic.
The fire was reported at around 11:56 a.m. at 1160 Pina Selva Place, according to emergency notification app PulsePoint.
By around 12:20 p.m., the fire had engulfed a barn and garage, burned some nearby cars and was threatening to set ablaze more vehicles as well as brush, firefighters said over the emergency scanner.
By 12:45 p.m., firefighters had knocked down the fire and expected to spend about two hours mopping up the blaze, according to emergency scanner traffic.
Several Cal Fire firefighters were on the scene as of Thursday afternoon.
Two people received medical help for smoke inhalation, according to the scanner.
