SLO man hurt in motorcycle crash dies from injuries, police say

A San Luis Obispo man who suffered major injuries in a motorcycle crash Monday afternoon died from his injuries, according to the San Luis Obispo Police Department.

Police identified the man as Braxton Salcedo, 27.

Salcedo died after being wounded in a collision between his motorcycle and a vehicle near Broad and Caudill streets, the SLO Police Department said in a Twitter post Friday.

“Our deepest sympathies go out to his family & friends,” the agency said on Twitter. “The collision is still under investigation.”

Both the San Luis Obispo Police and City Fire departments responded to the crash on Monday.

No other injuries were reported.
