911 calls from Verizon cell phones not working in SLO, police warn. Here’s what to do

Calls to 911 from cell phones using Verizon are not working in the city, the San Luis Obispo Police Department warned Sunday evening.

The cell service provider was working to restore 911 service as of 6:55 p.m., police said.

Customers will be notified when service has been restored.

In the meantime, if you need police services, call 805-781-7312.
