Missing San Miguel girl found by detectives, SLO County sheriff says
A missing San Miguel girl was “located safe” by San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office detectives on Sunday, a day after her mother reported she had disappeared, according to the agency.
Addie Fay Wilson, 12, was considered “at risk” because of her age, the Sheriff’s Office said.
“Thank you to everyone who shared information to assist the Sheriff’s Office in locating her,” the agency said in a news release.
Kathe Rovenstine previously said her daughter had last been seen San Miguel at 7:15 a.m. Saturday.
Rovenstine said the family first noticed Addie was missing when Addie’s stepdad was making pancakes in the kitchen. The parents called their kids to come to breakfast, but Addie did not show up.
“I’m worried of everything right now,” Rovenstine told The Tribune on Saturday.
