Law enforcement will swarm Paso Robles City Hall on Thursday, but there’s no need for residents to worry.

The Paso Robles Police Department will host an active shooter training at the City Council Chambers and City Library on Spring Street from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday, it said in a news release.

Both buildings will be closed during the training, police said.

“Residents visiting the area should not be alarmed by the increased presence of law enforcement,” the release said. “During this exercise, the Police Department is committed to the safety and well being of all citizens within our community.
